Working in Ellicott City
Ellicott City is really two markets. Around the historic district you have stone and masonry work — repointing, stone step and wall repair, and renovation that has to respect what's already there. West of the highway you have larger newer homes where the projects are big hardscape builds and full kitchen or bath renovations.
We do both. On masonry we match mortar and stone rather than patching with whatever's on the truck. On hardscape we build the base to the same standard whether the patio is two hundred square feet or two thousand.
Drainage deserves specific mention here. Ellicott City's topography moves water fast, and any wall or patio we build accounts for where that water goes.
